Default Problems with my Clutch

My pedal goes down 2/3rds of the way and then starts to catch... When I replaced the clutch I didn't take apart the Hydo. Line. Heres the Kicker, I dont know if it was like this before I bought it. Could I have installed the clutch incorrectly? I know the Throw Out bearing is in place and I'm pretty sure I lined everything up correctly.

Do you guys think I just need to bleed or could it be something else?? Thanks!!

By the way, its a 91 Eclipse GS

It could be one of two things:

1) Adjust your clutch pedal height.

2) You may have blown your clutch master cylinder. If your new clutch has a stiffer pressure plate, a lot of times it'll result in the death of your clutch master cylinder.

While you're at it, I'd recommend bleeding your clutch hydraulic system and replacing it with fresh DOT 3 fluid. Unfortunately, this type of maintenance usually goes unchecked.
