Default carbon fiber hood

does anyone knoe wat grit to sand down the clear coat on a carbon fiber hood..my hood is peeling bad..need some work..any imput on this.??

wet sand with real fine grit like 2k

You can find clear coat "peelers", it's basically a rattle can of spray that will cause the clear to bubble up and you just scrap it off. Won't harm the CF cuz I did this on my OEM Evo spoiler.

i would use anything finer than 2000 grit to be on the safe side

where do u guys find clear coat peelers at? i'm intersted and would like to peel of the clear coat on my cf hood cause it's peeling off already and want to make it shine again.
