what other maintenance do i have to do?
car specs: 1996 honda accord LX 2.2L non-vtec 4 dr 165,000miles
ive done: tranny fluid change, brake fluid change, rotors and pads change, rear drums shoes has about 80% left., just replaced outer tie rods.
those were done within the last 3 months. timing belt was replaced when i bought the car, which was at 118,000miles. i think coolant was changed about two months after that because of a leak somewhere. power steering fluid was never changed since i bought it. i havent done egr cleaning before, much less, on this car. upper ball joints arent ripped but the bottom one is.
what else do i got to do especially at this mileage? what do most people replace and what other fluids should i look at?
thanks.

Definitely clean the EGR ports, and I dont think you mentioned changing the clutch fluid (to get moisture out) and the engine oil
... maybe have the AC professionally drained and filled? The fuel filter should be change also...
Also your sway bar rubber might be on its way out. If you don't know how old the headlights are it never hurts to go ahead and swap em out.
Other than that, drive it. Should be a good car for many miles...

i didnt know LX comes with sway bar? or am i thinkin about the stabilizer bar that comes with EX?
i have an auto so no need to bleed the clutch.
oil change is every 3k so im not worried about that.
EGR! i might have to look into this; but do i have to remove the fuel rails and i dont have to drill the holes for my generation correct?

no you dont gotta drill holes, as soon as you lift the plate up you will see the holes, they will either be clear or have build up, there is a write up in the accord faq
I don't recall the exact procedure off the top of my head but since you will be removing the fuel rail to gain access to the EGR plate, yes, there is a chance you'll leak some fuel out. Just have towels ready to catch the mess.
no special tools required that I can think off.
It would probably be best to try and pick most of the deposits out of the holes rather than flushing them into the intake ports. But a really good cleaner that I've used on other things is Berryman's B12, you can get it at most part stores and the stuff works great on carbon deposits and things like that.
