well the b16 has shorter gears which obviously means better acceleration but the gsr is also good i had one myself, then again if either of the 2 have lsd grab the 1 with the lsd

I have no experience with a b16/itr tranny, but I recently put a GSR transmission next to my b18b and I love it. It pulls much nicer than stock from the top of 2nd on up through 5th. What's most awesome is there's no more need to down shift to pass on freeways

I'd imagine a b16 tranny would be too short and maybe a bit annoying for daily driven car. I only have a stock ITR exhaust, but constant high revs would probably be...unpleasant. Tear my hair out, slap my passenger unpleasant.

I'd recommend making real power a better way instead of taking the shortcut and getting a super short tranny. Go GSR and work on your motor for a perfect balance of real power gains and easy acceleration.
