Rev problems on 94 integra
I perhaps have one of the most interesting problem involving my '94 integra ls 4door:
I warm my car up in the morning around 8am everyday. The rpm shoots up to 2 and then slowly settles down to 1 after the engine has warmed up. This is normal. However here is the interesting piece: after I park my car and leave it for 3 hours, I come back and as I start my engine my rpm goes up to 2, drops to 1.5, revs back up to 2, drops to 1.5 for 2-3 minutes until the car is warm. Okay, very weird. Now I get home then 3 hours later once again I start my car, the same thing happens where the rpm just jumps up and down.
This thing happens to me everyday where the RPM does not jump during the FIRST warming up of the car (8am) but jumps after every start of the car after that.
I have read forums and problems and they suggest that i may have a faulty idle air control valve. I have replaced this part yesterday and cleaned out the valve. I also replaced the O2 sensor and even tuned up my car. I also had to put in a new valve cover gasket (oil was leaking out). Even after all of these replacements, I am still experiencing this situation.
How the heck do I fix this? Please get back to me asap.

I have changed the IACV, O2 sensor, and tuned up my car and the problem still persists.
I will check for vacuum leak. Is there anything that I should check for? Im running out of options and have no clue what to do next.

I have had the same problem with my two teg, one when I did the H swap and the second time when I put a new rad on. More than likely you have a low coolant issue or you have air in your system. the air gets trapped in and around your IACV and thermo fast idle valve. the air throws them off and it thinks that is it cold.. Or you could have bad sensors. your TPS, MAP, IACV, IAT, or you FITV. all of these could contribute to the problem that you are discribing.
