Default EG6 brakes

i have a bore stock '93 honda civic DX. i came across Hmotorsonline and found that they have EG6 front and rear brake setups for sale. now my brakes work fine right now but i would like to get discs all around.
does anyone have any experience with JDM eg6 brakes? i was thinking that honda made them more high end because they are standard on the Japanese SI-R. i know i wouldn't use the master cylinder or the proportion values from my DX so, where would i get them from?
my thought about getting these instead of integra brakes was, when car manufacturers make brakes for cars they design them for that specific car. so if you slap on different car brakes it'll throw off your front to rear braking ability and won't stop as fast or will cause un-needed wear and tear on your pads or rotors. is this wrong?

sorry for being a noob. im eager to learn though, your comments are appreciated.

Default Re: EG6 brakes (Faty17)

EG6 uses regular 92-95 EX front brakes (10.25" rotors) and 92-95 Si rear brakes (9.4"). You will need a 4040 prop valve from a 90-93 Integra non-ABS or 94-95 Integra RS. You will need a larger master cylinder from a 90-91 Civic EX 15/16" or 94-95 Integra RS 15/16" (with brake booster).
