Default Attaching a K&N to stock intake pipe(pict request)?

Finishing up my build and need a quick, simple, cheap intake. I just want to use the stock pipe to the manifold, and put a K&N on the end. Only issue is how to attach the filter, I need some kind of coupling and some clamps. I would appreciate any picts/or part #'s /advice. Here is a pict of the pipe I want to use:

Meh, i use an aftermarket filter on my stock pipe since a rock destroyed my air intake box, but really it doesnt matter IMO, i would just do what your doing rather then buy a "real" intake unless u want to go CAI. I just used a filter that was the same diameter as the hole and wedged it in there.

At the end of the intake tube was a section of 3" Exhaust adapter pipe and attached to a stock integra air filter, but any filter would work.

because the bpi velocity stack with the K&N RF-1048 filter just kicks *** as a budget intake?

not saying it's the best, but it is a hands-down great alternative to others out there!!! besides, dynos don't lie:

Well, I am going turbo sooner than later, so I just wanted a quick fix because I couldn't stand to put the stock "box" back on. I think I'm gonna go with the $15 Autozone K&N mock off, and find an efficient method of attaching it. I might even need a small piece of aluminum coulping to tighten the clamp down to. Thanks for the picts, they give me something to work off of....

you can always go on ebay and buy the intake but THROW AWAY THE FILTER. just use the pipe and go out and buy like a k&n filter and there you have it.

I actually just got back from Autozone...This filter was $16 and fit perfectly. It was actually a slight interference fit so it's a good seal. Remember, I am just looking for a temp air intake, by no means am I pushing a short ram intake ( or warm air intake as I prefer to call it..ha ha) because eventually I will be going turbo. Thanks again for the picts...
