I have a 1999 honda civic si turbo that will not pass inspection. I have an obd1 tuned with crome and codes are being thrown at inspection. I have been told that with hondata codes will be cleared and i will have no problem with inspection. I dont know how true this is but if someone could let me know and how much it would cost me it would be very helpful.

 

do you have your old ecu? if not you wont be able to pass inspection, reason why is cause your car comes standard with a obd 2 ecu you now have a stepdown harness with a obd 1 ecu. the computer at the inspection place wont be able to read it, you gonna have to find someone that does it under table. im going thru that problem with my turbo si right now. good luck hope that helps!
