As the title says, ive seen a link in someone elses thread regarding the AEM Engine Position Sensor, which uses a couple of optical sensors. Obviously there are pros to using this- especially over the standard system.
Im an avionics engineer among a few other things and it wouldnt be a problem to make a device that would convert the 24/1 signal of the AEM unit into a signal that can be fed to the honda ecu and therefore be utilised by those of us using Hondata ecu's basically getting rid of the weakpoint.
Basically to do this, i need some information; the 3 distributor sensors (pinout being)
CYP P B11 Distributor cylinder sensor
CYP M B12 Distributor cylinder sensor
TDC P B13 Distributor TDC sensor
TDC M B14 Distributor TDC sensor
CKP P B15 Distributor crank sensor
CKP M B16 Distributor crank sensor
I am hoping somebody could tell me, perhaps using some sort of graph (if they already happen to have it) what these sensors produce during a normal single revolution of the engine.
Thanks in advance. It would be nice to see if any Hondata users would also be interested in this..
