I'm running a pretty nice setup right now.
4 infinity kappas powered by an Eclipse 400x4 and a box with 2 JBL 600 watt subs powered by an old (but good) Legacy 1000 watt x2.
I was working on my car the other day and had the system going. All the sudden my Eclipse switches off. The outside felt slightly warm but not too much so. Turned the system on and the amp's protection light was off and running light was green (how it should be). No fuses blown, signal coming in, its just not outputting any signal.
I'm baffled, anyone have experience with this problem? and Eclipse amps?
(battery wasnt even low)
