distributor or coil or what please help ?
i have no idea what is wrong with my car all sensors are working , just bought new spark plugs , and put them on , car would just bog out itsounds like it had to much gas
so i took off spark plugs and were filled with gas like soaked , you think it might be my coil , not enough spark please help need to get my carrunning before monday

1. check dizzy cap. see if its loose, missing the coil spring, rotor is on right, and wires.
2. check the compression in the cylinders. a compression tester is $15 at autozone and a very usefull tool (even if its unnessicary this time)
3. did u put Dilect-grease on the connection points of ur wires? If not try that next, one or all of ur spark plugs could be disconnecting themselves (so to speak) s u drive.

Is your car stock? Did you put some big injectors on there? All FOUR spark plugs are doused with gas? Was it running fire before?

i dont know any history of that motor its single cam vtec , stock injectors i believe
but im thinking the coil is bad thats why thre is not enough spark when i changed the dist. cap the older cap look ed really bad , so tomorrow i am going to change the rotor and the coil ill see what happens

but i dont think you can actually grounded , then it would mess up the actuall pulse of the injector right
well yea. it should always have power but the ground should be a pulse. so what prompted this problem? all you did was change the spark plugs? you didnt unhook anything else. im kinda confused on what happened.
sorry for not putting the info but i bought this car , and it was bogging out since i got it the reason why i bought it is becouse of the shell not the motor since im swaping it with a ls vtec but anyway i still need the single cam to go to work , so thats why si i started eliminating problems that i thought it had like coil sparkplugs map sensor tps , and the iavc and found out there was no knock sensor and the injectors were conected to a ground well anyway lets just forgwet about it i made the guy who sold it for me to pay for the mechanic but i will ask the mechanic what was wrong with its o we can all be aware of this mistakes that other people do
