Where is Hondas GDI? (Gasoline Direct Injection)
Several other automakers have started using this technology since there seems to be only benefits with it. I was wondering where our version of it was. I would have bet that with all the inovation that Honda has done that they would be one of the first few that would start using it. But I havent seen or heard anything about it.
I searched the forums and only found 1 thread with any discussion of it and it was 3 years old. Apparently Honda has done some research on it since I also found this... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T...ction
Does anyone know if maybe they are using it in other markets?
It seems like a win win win situation from what i have read, better mileage, more horsepower, AND better emissions. Audi uses it on serveral of their models including the RS4 beast.

Just read an interesting article in the May issue of Road & Track about how our fuel here in the US contains too much sulphur. That is the reason why BMW has not brought any DI vehicles here yet, and probably the same goes for honda.
