Default Conversion harness? OBD2 to OBD1? Smoggable?

I have a 99 Civic and was wondering if I were to switch from OBD2B to OBD1 would it still be smoggable? Aren't OBD2 vehicles under different regulations (more strict) compared to OBD1? What do the smog shops test on anyways? Following 96+ OBD2 rules on 96+ cars or just what comes out through the exhaust?

it will fail.

when they first smog your car, they clamp the timing clip (measure electromagnetic fields)

then they plug into your OBD2 port (see where your F[rea]ked?)

if you manage to fudge the obd2 port, hide the ECU/jumper and anything under the hood you might be able to pass...........

or you can just pay the 500 bucks or w/e most smog shops take to get an auto pass

I think RS2 Fab summed it up. What other mods do you have? Your intake and header might fail you before they even hook the car up to the machine.

quit bumping it, the answer already given is the right one. it won't pass. you won't have an obd2 port that they can plug into, it's an autofail.
