I'm in the process of purchasing a EK 4dr ... I want to do a full H22 swap get bar'ed and then do a H2B w/ a JRSC ... Basically, all the mods on thing is going to be smog legal...

What do I need to past Cali Bar with the H22... so I mod from there... thanx in advance for the info...

 

Well I know that the motor has to be of equal mileage, and newer or the same year as the car. Thats all i really know about getting Bar'd

 

The engine also cant pollute more than what was in the car stock from what i've read. But shouldnt be much of a problem with a mostly stock 4 cyl anyways.

 

sooo basically ... every sensor should be working what if I swap in a Prelude Type S ... will the erg and charcoal canister from my stock civic be ok ??? And just as long I have the stock cat from a Prelude or will the Civic unit be ok ????

 

I would think both cats clean up the gases just as good unless one is that much bigger or smaller.
