Civic w/H22 swap question
does anyone here have a ek civic with a prelude swap? and my next question is how is the handling? i hear that swapping a h22 is heavy for the car, but i do want a lot more torque then the smaller motors make. any answers and suggestions will help a lot. thanks h-t

Re: Civic w/H22 swap question (maka)
H22 isnt all that much heavier than a B swap. Ive driven an EG with a H22 swap and a EG with a B swap and can't tell the difference.
EDIT: BTW this is covered quite often.

Re: Civic w/H22 swap question (maka)
it isnt too much heavier but it is noticeable. i have it in an EG with 450/400 rate with a 22mm rear bar and it handles decent. with 15-17x7 wheels itll handle pretty good, but when i put on OEM 15x6.5 it has some understeer. just sharing my experience

all hondas understeer though whether the engine is stock or not without a lot of suspension mods, with good tires, and shocks and springs my h22a hatch handles better than it did all stock.
