A good friend of mine had an Apexi N1 on his car and without the silencer in the muffler, it was loud. Like Cherry Bomb loud. I would go with Spoon, if it was my money.

Re: (EG6 n' WV)
If your looking for the best possible gain, you would definitely not be looking too much at the exhaust but rather to upgrading ur engine...TURBO style.
However, I am running an RS*R Ex-mag exhaust (not the canister kind, more like the Apex WSII kind) mated to a magnaflow 2.5" muffler (my RS*R rusted out).
It doesn't sound half bad, kinda drony on the highway. Also on the RS*R the b-pipe hangs a little too low, so in that case you are very limited to how low u can drop the car w/o scraping the exhaust pipes.

I bought my axle-back off of ebay for 100. Waste of money in general but it was a custom no-named brand. sounded nice and deep. Cheapest way I found was to go to an exhaust shop and have them custom bend one for you. I was quoted less than $300 if I used my own muffler for a 2.75" exhaust from cat-back. A pipe is a pipe except for the resonator and the titanium or steal material used.

That's exactly what I have.
