A good friend of mine had an Apexi N1 on his car and without the silencer in the muffler, it was loud. Like Cherry Bomb loud. I would go with Spoon, if it was my money.

i would have someone weld some 2.5" mandrel bent tubing after the high flow CAT (connected to a header) with a flat black vibrant muffler in the back.

I'm running a RS-R. nice sound and it has a stealthy look to it.

If your looking for the best possible gain, you would definitely not be looking too much at the exhaust but rather to upgrading ur engine...TURBO style.

However, I am running an RS*R Ex-mag exhaust (not the canister kind, more like the Apex WSII kind) mated to a magnaflow 2.5" muffler (my RS*R rusted out).

It doesn't sound half bad, kinda drony on the highway. Also on the RS*R the b-pipe hangs a little too low, so in that case you are very limited to how low u can drop the car w/o scraping the exhaust pipes.

I just recently picked up a thermal r&d system and am very happy with it. It's got a nice deep sound for a tiny 4 cyl.

Another vote for RS*R or WS2. No need for the ricey n1 canisters.

I bought my axle-back off of ebay for 100. Waste of money in general but it was a custom no-named brand. sounded nice and deep. Cheapest way I found was to go to an exhaust shop and have them custom bend one for you. I was quoted less than $300 if I used my own muffler for a 2.75" exhaust from cat-back. A pipe is a pipe except for the resonator and the titanium or steal material used.

rsr gt2 coming upto 4 years, no rusting, quality is brilliant, on the loud side but sounds deep. Straight through exhaust, not for the faint hearted.

Apexi WS2/Noir. Good sound AND they look good.
