So tonight I installed my brand new megan 4-2-1 header for my d16y8, after installed it it makes an annoyingly loud vibrating/rattling noise which seems to be around the cat. I am new to the whole car stuff so yeah, I tried bolting everything down harder but i sorta gave up for the night because it got late and i got school tomorrow.

Its drivable but the rattling noise is pretty loud, everytime I rev or go into the higher rpms itll start rattling alot faster/louder

 

Do you still have stock pipings if so the heat shield on the piping from the cat to the exhaust maybe be lose.

lol i got a 96 ex coupe it has a d16y8 i did a full exhaust system i no EXACTLY what you are talking about its deff the heat shields lol (i took all of mine off and the rattling went away)
