v-tec will engauge 2 times but then gives out. first it was throwing the pressure switch code, so I jumped the wire to the v-tec wire. code went away but Im still having the same problem. First It'll engauge at the proper RPM, then it will engauge about 500 RPM higher, then it wont engauge at all. any suggestions will help!

 

check your oil and oil pressure

 

Ive changed my oil sevral times, My oil level is perfect. could It be my soliniod going bad? HELP!! My oil pressure is perfect. had I checked at a dealership today.

 

It can only be two things now.

1. YOur Solenoid is bad

2. Your ECU is not sending a signal

Okay 3 things

3. Your Vtec Oil pressure housing needs to be cleaned out.

 

v-tec housing cleaned out! ecu is sending signal! I guess the only issue left is the soliniod. ANYBODY GOT 1 FOR SALE??????? HELP!

 

ok, so I bought a new soliniod........ STILL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM..... any sugestions will help!!!
