Default 99-00 Ebay Knock off JDM fogs need help

I bought these fog lights off of ebay brand new. My question is where does the brown plug plug into? It looks like it should plug into the fuse box inside the car but doesnt match up I have a 97 hatch is the fuse box's different?

I beleive, if I am guessing which brown plug you are talking about, it should plug into a harness near the power steering pump, if not there then by the passenger headlight.

Okay, there should be a harness that has a few plugs on it. One of them is the signal to the foglights, and it connects behind the fuse box (its a plug that is "blue-taped" to the back of the fuse box).

There are also two other plugs that plug directly into the fuse box for power (they should both have red wires). Or you may have a red wire with a plug for the fuse box and a seperate red wire without a plug, depending on which knock-off set you purchased.

Keep in mind this is for 1999-2000. I'm not sure if the 1997 Civics are wired the same way for foglights or not.

The plug you are talking about is for the other harness which connects the wiring inside the car to the foglights themselves.

Honda wired every Civic in 1999-2000 for foglights. It is a single wire that goes from behind the fusebox inside the car, through the firewall to the area near the power steering pump.

does the brown plug on have one wire going to it?

if it's the wire that I think you are talking about then it does connect to the fuse box under the dash, like you were thinking. There is a row of empty spots above all the fuses that you plug the brown plug into.

I know that, that's why I spoke of that wire. On my car, that plug is brown and it is near the power steering pump, the one that goes to the fuse block is blue.
