^ like he said mabie a garage changed this front pads/dics/calipers becouse his brakes were done with dx/lx by accident/ didn't care.

There was a guy on turbod16 i believe that had bought a car with an si on one side and a dx on the other so you can imagine whats possible out there...

call honda... it could be an early production run 92 model. possibly came with lx brakes
with the vin they'd be able to tell you

or it could be a wrecked car or someone switched them somehow

So you have a Canadian Si coupe? You're not being very clear.

Canadian Si coupes were basically U.S. EX coupes. U.S. EX coupes only came with larger discs up front if they were ABS.

I don't think he has a Si coupe because it's a '92. Coupes didn't exist until the '93 model year. Besides he says he has a hatch, only his title says that it's a, "cpe." Which is not a big deal. A hatch could easily be classified as a coupe by his DMV since it is a 2 door. But honestly, OP, you're completely overreacting! Relax, you have an Si. First of all, someone would've gone to ALOT of trouble to "forge" that Si. Installing a power sunroof, swapping in a D16Z6, swapping VINs, and replacing the rear drums with discs... why would he go to the trouble of doing all that and not do the front brakes? Doesn't make too much sense eh? Anyway, if I recall correctly, my '92 Si had had the same smaller front brakes as the lesser Civics(CX, DX, and LX?). I was disappointed at first because I thought the 92 Si had 10" front brakes like the 99-00 Si, but they were actually like 9 inches. But I didn't let it bug me for too long, I picked up a set of HX rims, cheap, from a guy who couldn't fit them on his 99 Si. hehe... So even if your car is a fake, I wouldn't be too mad. Look on the bright side, you have all the worthwile Si goodies anyway.

5th gen Si hatchbacks came with the same small front brakes as the CX/DX/VX/LX, with the exception of the rare '94 ABS models. Same small 13/16th master cylinder too. Prop valve is a 3040 unit.
