Default EK H22 Axle problem. Wrong axles or need to be modified

Basically ive got a prelude half shaft (intermediate) and both 90-93 integra axles.
Now i havent installed them but it something doesnt look right. Every shaft as a male spline on both ends.

Both i thought maybe it needs to be modified because both the half shaft (prelude) and 1 of 2 integra axles has the locking pin (abs ring) for the tranny. I m i suppose to take or modify something.

any info is help pics are always great.

I'm not sure you know what you are looking at. The "locking pin" has nothing to do with the "ABS ring"... The "ABS ring" is actually called a tone ring. It sits on the outter end of the axle near the hub and wheel. It makes no difference if the axle has this ring or not if you car doesn't use ABS to begin with.

The "locking pin" I am assuming is the snap ring found on the inner side of the axle that inserts into the tranny. The one H22 swap I did used modified axles. Prelude inners with Integra outters. I think you can also purchase axles specifically for this swap as well. I am unsure of the intermediate shaft I used but I believe it was a prelude.

If its 'obvious' to you, then what is the purpose of this post?

OBD0 Prelude is not an H series.

its obvious because i know for sure the 90-93 accord half shaft will work it has a female end on it, the guy i picked up off of said the prelude would work, it doesnt, at least not first gen.

read the post carefully, everyone says use prelude but never state exactly which one the post says maybe u need an OBD0 prelude half shaft (my opnion not sure).

OBD0 prelude is not H series but maybe the half shaft has a female end on it which makes it work.

either everyone is wrong or you are wrong.
to use custom axles like dss you use the lude halfshaft. if you want to use the teg axles you have to swap the inner joint since as you discovered the teg inner will not mate to the lude half shaft.
if you wanted to use all stock parts you should have bought the accord halfshaft.

You already know that you have to use the accord shaft with those axles?? then why did you buy the prelude one? didn't you look at it before you bought it? you can clearly see that there's no way to put the male axle onto the male halfshaft.

Prelude halfshaft uses custom axles. accord doesnt. you seem to know that already so what are you asking?

sell your prelude halfshaft and buy an accord one.

</TD></TR></TABLE>

he said it would work with the teg shafts i noticed but i thought u would have to swap out something
