Truth. Do not trust that other guy. Buy 2 quarts and fill it until it overflows.

what i just did my tranny changed and they sold me 3 quarts and my local acura dealer... took it to my uncles shop and it took two and a little from the 3rd... this is for the rsx-s 04... so i dont know what you guys are talking about? and to add it stoped the 3rd gear grinding issue.

Why not fill it until it overflows? When parked on level ground the fill bolt hole is at the right height so that the fluid should be level with it when the transmission has the right amount in it.

did you flush out the old fluid out? i did and it took the two quarts and some from the 3rd (about 3/4).

you are correct fill untill it leaks out.. but car must be parallel to the ground.
