Lights???
i currently have aftermarket head lights and high beams and im thinkin about upgrading to HID's and i would like to have yellow highs and blue/white lows now my question is can i even put HID's in as my high beams and it still be dim as my parking lights/driving lights or will it be bright allthe time no matter if i have the highs on or if i have no lights on? did i make that understand able? lol
if you do bi xenons hid or anything for the highs, DRL will only use a small percentage of the high beams powers but I suggest you jus buy a better bulbs for your highs b/c having HID for highbeams does not sound like a good idea
I HAVE GOOD BULBS IN THE CAR NOW I JUST SAW THIS ONE FG ON HERE THAT HAD YELLOW HIGH BEAMS AND I LIKED IT BUT I WAS JUST WONDERING IF I COULD DO HID HIGH BEAMS BECAUSE MY LOW BEAMS WILL BE BULE/WHITE HIDS AND I DONT WANT ONE TO BE HID AND THE OTHER NOT
why all caps?
anyways, i dont think HID high beams are good unless they are in projectors. the high beams i have seen in bi-xenons do not help at all. but if you want only HID highs i dont see any problems with it.

im an architect and im at work and all my stuff for work is written in caps. so what about just yellow HID low beams? i saw those on a civic at the local hangout this passed sat night
Customlightz does a duel HID retro for our cars. I would drop them an email and ask them the question. I am sure they know the answer.
Personally, I have a HID retro on my Civic and find the HID's with the factory highbeams are more than enough light, and I am half blind 50 year old man.
I am not real informed regarding HID's but I believe they are a major power (electrical) hog. I wonder if you would need a different alternator to run two sets of HID's? Granted, you are not running the highbeams all the time, but it would suck to blow up your alternator when your driving out in the sticks.

I thought HIDs draw less power than stock bulbs?
