sensor question

Default sensor question

where is a knock sensor in a 2000 si???
what sensor is the one in the lower left side of the engine by the pully on a 2000 si motor??

THe knock sensor is located on the back on the block underneath the intake manifold.

That sensor down by the pulley might be the crankshaft position sensor.

yeah but i looked in alldata and it said the knock sensor is in the lower left

there are 2 sensors in the 2nd pic there should be 3 right??

i believe the knock sensor is the one between the water jacket and the intake manifold

yeah thats what i think too
but what sensor is the one behind the pully??
does a bod1 wiring harness have a sensor for that sensor behind the pully??
the motor is a 2000 si b16

No, obd1 civics got their signals, such as the crank sensor, in the dizzy. get an obd1 b16 dizzy, to go with your obd1 harness.

the one by the pulleys is the crank position sensor, i think that was an obd2 only thing, with that being said, there shouldnt be a clip for it on your obd1 harness

so i should do the swap just ignore the sensor then huh??

well its a 96 hatch
it has a obd1 wiring harness
and Im swaping in a b16a2 from a 2000 civic si
and i will use a b16 obd1 dizzy
and ill go with a p30 ecu(dont have it yet)
and it all wired up for vtec, so ive been told i just got the car like a month ago
