Are d16z6 and d15z1 came gears interchangeable

Are d16z6 and d15z1 came gears interchangeable

This may be covered in the mountains of usefull tech on this site...

I want to use my cam gear from my d15z1 (vx) motor on my d16z6.

The z6 has an aem adj. cam gear that looks like it has been sliping.

I know these motors share the same distributor

Yes, the cam gear is interchangeable.

83242 011 1 PULLEY, TIMING BELT DRIVEN

You are right, they both share the same part# aswell. For some reason they use different timing belts though.
