Default 03 106k miles turbo or no

i was thinking about turboing my car but i dont know if i should do a build first with rods pistons head studds etc and sleeved or just turbo it. worth doing or any other plans?

There's never a bad time to turbo. Get a compression test, make sure everything is good in there. Build if you want some real power. You could be good if your in the under 280-300 hp range on stock internals. More than that, you're going to want to upgrade the internals and transmission components.

ya that sounds good but i am just going to take my time and build my block and head whild im waiting to graduate and make some real money i have enough to do most of the build just waiting till summor to get it worked on.

so you can put that much power out on stock ? i thought after 250 you have to change some stuff around

When I asked about my turbo kit, I was told anything over 280 is going to make the tranny **** itself. Internals should be good up to that point. You say your going to build the block though anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it. How much power are you looking for?

I think blueshark is using a base Rsx 5 speed tranny in his. I'm sure he'll chime in on this eventually.
