type r suspension question!!!
im about to put the type r suspension on my EF but i wanna know if i need to put the integra master and B/B i know i have to install the PPV thanks guys
Yes. The master cylinder is larger for type R brakes.
It will work without swapping the master cyl or proportioning valve, just not efficiently. I wouldn't recommend it.

1. You must swap booster and MC together, you cannot put a a MC from a Civic on a Type-R Booster
2. If you are swapping braking systems you need to mimic the vehicle that it is coming off of
3. If you are putting on bigger brakes and have a small MC you may run out of pedal travel before your brakes actually stop you, hence reason #2 applies.

Like toad said use the master cylinder and brake booster that goes with the brakes that you are putting on the car. If you are swapping on type r brakes then use the bb and mc. you need the proportioning valve off of the integra also. I would suggest some stainless braided brake lines also.

And Integra Booster and MC will bolt on no problems. There are two kinds an ABS unit and NON-ABS unit. You CANNOT put a ABS booster with a NON ABS master cylinder it WILL NOT WORK, or vise versa.
The ABS unit will say 290v on a tag on the top of the booster
The NON ABS unit will say 260v on that tag on top of the booster
If you have a 290 (ABS) you will need the fitting from the rear line on the MC to put on the rear line on the car you are bolting this onto. This will require cutting and reflaring the new fitting on your car which is not hard to do. We have done this with so many CRX that it is very simple.
