are you talking about on the back of the cluster?

Aren't those built into the cluster itself and not removable?

Or are you asking how to remove the pins from the plug connectors?

removing the female plugs from the circuit board, and yes they do appear to be held pretty firmly on there.

but they have some way of being removed since the guy in the above picture was using them to make 2 way cluster harnesses.

IDK, it's been a long time since I looked at the back of a cluster or the inside. I have a Civic cluster sitting around somewhere I believe, maybe I'll try taking a look and see.

either that or you can me know if there's a thread that shows you how to roll back the mileage on your cluster. (kilometers add up fast)

You're gonna have to desolder all the pins.

even if there was I wouldn't let it be posted. It's been a long known policy to not allow posts like that simply because of the way in which it can be used. Much like how to get into a car without the keys, etc. You get what I mean.

ahh i hear you TA but it's okay i found a thread.

all i really needed to know was how to get the needle off the gauge without breaking it. they're saying it just "lifts" off. sounds like crock to me but i will try anyway.

I never looked into taking the needles off but for some reason I seem to remember something about messing up some gauges by pulling the needles off. IDK, I may be thinking of something else as I don't recall exactly.

yeah... the needles just lift off... something very simple....
As for the plugs of the harness, to remove them from the cluster, i usually use a skinny flathead to push them down while pushing them back.. it seems to work everytime!
