Coupe exhaust on hatch
i bought a 2000 honda civic coupe exhuast (mid pipe and muffler), to install on my 2000 hatch. i bought it thinking it will fit and jus need to cut the muffler tip, (ofcourse it didnt) the hangers did not line up, the piping is to long to the hanger sit below my bumper support, currently have a hose clamp holding it. all u hear is metal hitting metal (so annoying). ANY ONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?
NO I DONT WANT TO BUY ANOTHER ONE....

Yup, that's what I would do. Just tell them the piping is too long and you need it shortened so that the hangers go together correctly.

yeah thats what i didnt want to do..does anyone kno where i cant one of those clamps with hangers on them? u kno the ones on some aftermarket mufflers, and u jus wrap it around the muffler...
Man don't rig the exhaust up, do it right! I cant stand ppl that rig exhaust up when its so simple to have done correctly. The exhuast should be completely welded (connections and hangers) with the only connection not welded where the downpipe or header meets the chassis exhaust piping. Im sure it wouldnt cost more than 25 bucks to be done correctly
