Default Sluggish H

So we finally finished the H in the EJ1 Coupe, but it feels as if there is a huge drag to it.

Basically, in comparison my 02 stage 2 WRX pulled it a bit from a 40mph 3rd gear roll...

Car: 1994 Civic EJ1 Coupe. JDM H22 250 compression across. AEM Hybrid (short Rammed.) LoveFab 4-2-1 Header with 2.5" collector and 2.5" catback (2.5" ITR Cat)

Stock JDM p13, running everything NO CEL.

Running EGR, IAB (IAB without the box, just the solenoid, Comes on about 4800-5k)

Feels like something is dragging from 5k on. Vtec IS working, IABS ARE working. Just feels like it plains off. Don't really know how to explain it. I can get a video when it stops raining, because traction is definitely an issue dry, and well wet it knows nothing about traction

Cam Timing is spot on. Ignition timing is... Where it was when we got the engine.

Could it be weak ignition? Also running a walbro 255 (gss-342) pump, without aftermarket regulator, so its running 50-54psi with the vacuum hose disconnected.

Anyway, help would be wonderful!! Open to any Idea's!

Ignition? Timing? Brakes Dragging? Over Fueling? Poor Tune?

Or are they that slow stock? lol

Side Note, it engine brakes like no other car I've ever driven.

for whatever reason we never ran good on a p13. We switched to a p72 and went from 13.1 to 12.8 in a 92 4-door, with no tuning. A chipped p28 is a good option, an even better option is getting it tuned on a dyno.

You can't be serious?!?

I'm not even going to laugh at that.

Quickly for you, ever turned a light on? NOT A DIMMER! Just a single pull switch? Its either on or off right?! That filter prevents your poor spool valve from getting your cheap oil and left over metal shavings into it. Either its working or its not, and it is.

Theres is no kinda working, or my filter is dirty bs.

Sorry just hate reading things like that.

Back to the problem. Do H's engine brake something terrible?! M2B4 trans with Stock LSD. Even just letting off the gas in current gear it wants to throw you through the dash.

A tune would be great, but if its mechanical, it will only amplify it.

There is no way in holly hell this car would have a 13.5 or less ET even with slicks. It just feels like there is a drag to it, and like I said, I've never felt such extreme engine braking in my life.

I'm not trying to be a dick. But A. Learn to spell. B. If you read my first post, there are no CEL's and Vtec AND IAB's are working properly.

A clogged filter will cause things such as intermittent engagement, random disengagement, and no engagement period.

The problem is basically throughout the rev's, not 5k and above.

Finally, the only filter I have ever seen clogged was clogged with copper. AND it was throwing a CEL for the Spool.

It has nothing to do with Vtec or IAB.

We noticed tonight (should have noticed before) the transmission is sitting up against the passenger side frame rail. And we talked to Brian at Hasport and he seems to think we are having an axle binding issue.

But until tom. when I can BFH the frame rail and check the Pass side axle length, I have nothing.
