Default da not accelarating how it should

this is a 1991 integra with a b18a1 the problem is when you accelarate it goes but you can feel it kicking in slowly as you reach a higher rpm then it drives fine after that the car also shuts off sometimes while driving it so i checked the fuel when i turn the key to turn on the fuel pump fuel would come out sometimes i think it has a blown head gasket but not sure if thats the cause of the problem so if anyone has any ideas or what i should check for just let me know

sounds like an ignition(spark) problem... maybe a coil or ignitor going bad.... need more details to give you more ideas

Yeah could be ignition.....Check your distributor cap, wires, and spark plugs mine had the same problem not long ago and ended up being the old wires..........

You mentioned that you thought you might have a Blown head gasket. Is your oil milky like it has water/coolant in it? Do you have any oil seaping out around the head? Since it runs fine in the higher rpm range its probbably not an issue of fuel delivery, unless its getting too much (Oxygen Sensor) I would atleast take out your o2 sensor and inspect it, its easy to get to, just infront of the cat.
