so heres the deal....i have a 93 dx with a b16 turbo swap. I am currently in the process of tuning for the turbo with a chipped p06 ecu and i have a check engine that is on with no codes....the car was previously an auto 1.5L if that means anything...stock harness and vtec and knock sensors were wired in seperately... I have tried 2 other chipped ecu and still get the same thing, but when i plug my p30 ecu in with no chip, the light goes off....any idieas on what my problem could be. I read that someone said to check the service jumper wire to make sure it is grounded so im going to do that, but just wanted some other ideas on what the problem could be...thanks in advance

 

who is doing the chips. my boys car did the same thing when the ecu was chipped. here it was the people doing it were not adding the proper resistors. try another stock ecu. if u get the same result then its the ecus. or try your ecu in someone elses car and see what happens. if no light then i cant help u

 

yeah both chipped ecus work in another car, I got the ecu chipped from 93turbo16 right here on HT...about 2 years ago....
