i have a 92 ex and its acting sluggish, when i hit the gas the rpms goes up and the car hardly move, the car is very lazy and it is really bad on gas, i know that it cant be the clutch because i bought a new one and put it on, i also bought a master cylinder and put it on, do you guys thing my tranny is going?

any weird noises??? Who installed the clutch?

 

the tranny has a weird sound like when it is like 60+MPH like a deep loud noise, and it is lazy, (i meant to say in the first post that the gears are slipping thats why it goes onto high rpms when i hit the gas pedal and it hardly moves)

 

My opinion: Clutch is gone, theres no way the car can be reving high and not want to go anywhere with a good clutch... Unless all the gears in the transmission were beging destroyed..but you would definately know if that was happening.

 

Yeah if the gears were going it would be more than a noise at 60+ mph, you would be able to hear them shredding lol

 

Who installed the clutch? What brand/manufacturer? How did you break it in? Did you resurface the flywheel?
