99-00 civic grill question.

Just a quick question would the outer piece of a 99-00 civic DX/CX grill fit a 99-00 Si/EM1 grill?

it will fit - however the inner grill from the si will not fit the cx/dx because it cannot be removed

yea just wondering because i bought a si grill but its blue. and i was wondering if i could just swap the outer rings, because my dx one is black. don't really feel like paying to get the grill painted.
