I've looked up the part #s for the bumpers and they are the same. Are the grilles swapable?

Now my other question is can I just swap out the back screen of the si grille onto the ex grille "molding" so i don't have to paint it? Thanks!

 

i want to say yes on this...i have look into this before...but i had a front-end accident on my car...and my insurance got me all Si goodies

LOL, yeah the si grille (pretty much the only difference between the two fronts) looks much nicer IMO

Anybody else know the answer to my question?

 

If so, I need to get just the mesh and swap it out, to avoid painting, like you sadi.

Si grille into Ex molding, no won't work. They are designed different.

HORSE **** IT WONT!! I got my type R which is the same as the SI and it fit like a charm into my cx's front bumper!~!

Now are you talking about the complete assembly or just the screen into a cx bumper? I know the entire grille will fit, but I'm trying to figure out if i can swap out the screens so I don't have to paint the SI grille to match.
