Question regarding cracked distributor leak cover
Hi guys,
I started getting a rattle coming from my distributor yesterday. I removed the distributor cap today to find that the rotor is in-place (not loose) but the leak cover was cracked. I did not proceed to take off the rotor as I know I will need to grab a leak cover replacement before anything. Probably just going to replace cap/rotor/and leak cover all at the same time.
My question is how is the leak cover held in place? Due to it being cracked, I am able to move it around a little and I am certain that is the source of my distributor rattling. However, I cannot see any bolts holding it in place.
Thanks!
