The 2004 US version is 2.2 rated at 237 HP, the Jap is 246 HP 2.0, is it different rating or different power? What about the Euro version 2.0 2004? ?!?!

obviously the kids new to the s2000...do people here seriously look at the past threads of peeps just to clown on them? cause that sounds kinda gay () that people actually take their time to do that. 2 differing engines - one is a 2.0 and one is a 2.2. HP-wise, i believe that the 2.0 is higher, but the 2.2 has better torque. Again from reading other forums, there seems to be very little flat out speed difference, they just deliver it differently.
America put out the 2.2 earlier than japan and europe

and most importantly of all....you're QUESTION WAS ALREADY ANSWERED. SAE ratings were revised in 2005, thats why there are different numbers, you can't compare the two because of this. GTFO
