Lower ball joint question
Hey all,
I am in the process of replacing my LBJ in my 89 crx si. I am at the point where you put the nut on the bolt to tighten down the LBJ, but when I turn the nut the bolt turns with it and I cant torque it up????
Am I forgetting something?
Help!

Pretty much from what I hear you have to have air tools...I am in the same spot as you. There is a way of using a flat screwdriver to push down on it but without air you might be stuck....GL

I had to take my jack to the lca and keep jacking til there was enough pressure to hold the ball joint in place before I could get it to tighten. though I do have a snap-on 1/2 drive battery powered impact that I used to get it tight I figure hand tools would have worked to since the ball joint was tight enough from the jack (it did lift the rest of the car a little off the jackstand on that side but it was still stable
