Default What is the minimum size rims that will fit over a 90-91 Civic Ex front brakes?

As title states I have some 90-91 Civic Ex front brake assembly and whn i do my d15z1 swap i plan to install these front brakes. I plan to get light weight rims for the car and am wondering if Vx rims (which i doubt) or HX rims would fit? I may go aftermarket if i can find some nice light ones :D.

Thanks,
Shane

14's came standard on the car, but you can fit certain offset 13's if I'm not mistaken, but those odd 13's tend to be a smidge heavier (drag applications).

Here's my question: why do you need EX brakes? It sounds to me like you are going for fuel economy rather than performance. Do you honestly NEED bigger, heavier brakes on a car that is not going to have the power to go very fast? I myself would just stick with DX/SI brakes. And if you have an HF, you don't even need to upgrade your knuckles: DX/SI brakes work fine on them (this is the setup on the Civic STD).

I'm aware that those will work fine. I just like knowing i can stop on a dime if need be :D.

I have them laying around and don't feel like sourcing out dx/si ones. i am aware of the weight difference. I'm going for better FE but at the same time having a bit of luxuries that are missed in Crxs (how-to tutorials with pics to come in the next week or so)

Thanks

Still think that this is one of the best upgrades I've done to my car.

I've had 15" Ls meshies on those brakes, and the 14" Crx Si wheels fit too. I think most Honda/Acura wheels 14" and above fit no problem.
