Has anyone slanted their radiator to make room for a downpipe?
I want to mount my radiator like this...

I am pretty sure that it would still cool efficiently, but I just wanted to see if anyone has done this before without having any overheating problems. I know that it looks kind of funny, but I don't have too many other options.

Tons of people have done it. Not me personally but I see it all over and I dont see anyone talking about problems. So I think your good to go.
I know on my brother's car he had to do that and it overheated on the highways and on hot days. He even routed another side radiator in the fender to help with the overheating problems, which didnt help. The problem was never fixed until he put it back in the normal position.. Just thought id share that.

That was probably caused by the air going around the radiator since the radiator would act as a much higher resistance to air flow then going around it.
Normally the front of the car acts as a shroud that forces air through the radiator. Thats why I would at least use a fan like shown above.

mines slanted... only ever had a problem on the hottest day of the year.. and the needle only went up like a touch more then it usually sits!
and my fan is sittin in front, and is a pusher now instead of a puller.
