Default Spare Block (picture intensive)

finally got around to taking some pics after my brother gave me his camera before leaving to the US.

All this stuff cost me $96 USD.

it came out of a 92 RS Integra.......mechanic said there is something broken inside but they never bothered to check what it was, instead installed a JDM engine in the car. What i have there is a b18a block with b18b intake manifold.

as soon as the helms arrives i'll pulling this puppy apart. IF/WHEN i get the money i'll get it sleeved.

can someone tell me if i have to change the sensor.....it is cracked. (upper right corner)

mechanic was saying that whenever they do an engine swap (this is a normal shop, not performance) they sell the old engine to the scrap ppl for $125.

since i know the guy he gave it to me cheaper. funny thing is i went to ASK him where i could find a scrap block and it was laying there for me to take it

u can probably ask any small shop that does engine replacements. the mechanic told me that they dont have the time to open up an engine and see what is wrong. if they can sell the customer another engine, its less headache for them. they only open up the engines if the customer wants them to. (ie. replace piston rings)

you dont have to change the sensor. The wiring harness connector pushes right into it. The broken part is the protection cover.
