Default Engine Harness/ECU/Injector Dilemma. PLEASE HELP!

Hey guys. well im finally yanking my obd2 b16 from my 99 civic and putting the old LS/Vtec in. My problems start here. See my LS/vtec ran all obd1, harness, dizzy, etc etc. My car is obviously obd2 (not sure which era, A or B?) Now im unsure which route to take, whether to get a jumper for the obd1 or swap engine harnesses or what? Also, im going to be ordering aftermarket injectors and S300 for boost, wondering if the route i take harness wise will affect the type of injectors i need. Never ran resistor boxes before, all saturated injectors i think... Simple questions, probably simple answers, just wanted to be steered in the right direction before dropping all this Ca$h. thanks for any input.

Why not just use the parts off the B16? Like the distributor, alternator, and injectors. Swapping harnesses really isn't a good option (not even sure if it's possible), because the '99 Civic has a 1-piece harness and the OBD1 is a 2-piece harness. Then just buy the OBD2B to OBD1 conversion harness to plug in an OBD1 ECU for the S300. Or you could buy a pre-chipped ECU from Hondata that had the OBD2B connectors instead of the OBD1, like here: http://www.hondata.com/accessories.html ("Hondata Prepared ECUs").

yeah, figured out im just going to swap everything and get an OBD jumper. now heres another question, would it be possible to run my ls/vtec with the same exact hardware (ECU, injectors etc.) as the b16 N/A for a while, or should i need the s300 for the NA tune?

It will definitely run, but it'll be running lean because of the ECU. Other than the ECU, all the other parts should be fine. Just try not to take the rpms too high until it's properly tuned.

You must be OBD1 and I recommand you to use low impedance injectors with a resistor box.

OBD2a = 1996-1998
OBD2b = 1999-2000
(For civic EK)
