i went to the track .... at the end of my run i put it in the wrong gear (i kno [freak] u) and i over reved it, and now it makes this LOUD clicking/slapping noise, i wanna say in the valve train.... i took off the cover just now, and i cant really find any physical markings or anything out of the ordinary.... any help would be great thanks

no codes? If you over revved and now you hear a LOUD clicking/slapping noise. I wouldn't drive it AT ALL.

If the higher the rev the faster the click, Then my guess would be that you had a piston to valve confrintation.

if you can take the head off and check to see if theirs any visible damage to the valve or piston. if you can't take it to the shop.

or you can manualy rotate the engine and you should be able to tell if a valve is hitting a piston.

 

yup cyl. 1 is [freak]ed on exhaust side, cam, valves, piston ... rod haha im [freak]ed
