Default Oil Leakage...

I have a EJ8 and I've noticed I've been leaking oil. I first noticed when then pudddle in my garage kept getting bigger and my dipstick kept reading the oil level lower and lower. What are some possible reasons for the oil leakage? I haven't checked under the car yet but I will do so after work.

So I checked under the car and there was some oil on the bottom of the oil pan and there was also oil where the engine meets the tranny. I really couldn't see where becasue there was a shield blocking my view, since I don't have the money to fix whatevers missing I decided not to take it apart. In other news I also found out I need a passengers side axle. : (

It sounds like the oil may be leaking from the oil pan, and/or possibly from the rear main seal located between the transmission and the engine. If you clean up some of the oil from the engine, you may be able to better localize the leak. By the way, if the leak is primarily from the oil pan, the fix is relatively inexpensive (oil pan gasket) if you do the work yourself.
