Default KAIZENSPEED's billet aluminum spacer NOT steel anymore!

MODS: This is not meant to be a promotional post but feel free to move it if you need to.

The KAIZENSPEED balance shaft eliminator kit will now come with a BILLET ALUMINUM CRANK SPACER. The new spacer weighs less than 1/2 of what our previous steel spacer weighed, and it looks trick.

Also, the billet aluminum plugs for the oil pump will now come polished and the price for the Balance Shaft Eliminator Kit remains the same

Further, we now also offer OEM Honda Oil pumps with the aluminum balance shaft plugs already pressed in so you don't have to.... Since this is meant to be an informative post rather than a sales post, please just email or PM if you want pricing.

i think you should specify to everyone and on your site that you cant run the spacer on the crank for the balance shaft pulley on cars that run timing like obd2 cars. Or just dont put that spacer in the kit for h22a4s since they are obd2 from the factory.

This spacer isn't included in A4 kits just for that reason . To those that are unclear of what he's talking about: The crank pickup is on the balance shaft belt drive pulley on the snout of the crankshaft on OBD2 cars requiring you to use the stock pulley. That is unless you switch to an OBD1 distributor and re-route the wires, then you can use our spacer.

mine was an A4 kit and it came with it. This was probably about a year ago that I got it though. But im 100% sure I ordered an A4 kit unless you guys sent me the wrong one or something, I never checked part numbers or anything.

The only difference in the kit is the lack of the crank spacer and the A4 uses a 1/4 NPT plug and tap instead of the 1/8 plug. We'll make a note on the instructions and on the website.

This new spacer just takes the place of the balancer drive gear on the crank? On OBD2 cars does the crank position sensor use the teeth of the balancer drive gear to work properly?

Yes, it does. That's why the little discussion above was had. This won't work for obd2 guys unless you use an obd1 dist.

i was told by you that the only difference between the kits was the plug and i ordered an a4 kit. Im just saying make a note of it on there because many ppl using these im sure dont know timing is determined off that pulley regardless if its driving anything.

Im not here to bash you guys. I love your product and it has worked well for me. Just thought it was something that was important.

sorry since this is an off topic question.

In regards to the pipe plug (1/8 NPT flush mount plug), how deep exactly is it supposed to go? I just figured to plug it back far enough to be flush with the oil port.
