Im gonna boost 11 psi on my gsr ek hatch, how many pounds till map sensor cuts the boost

 

It goes to 11

 

lol it just so happens that honda map sensors go out at 11 psi.
I recomend boosting 10 pounds and calling it good, or just get a 3 bar map sensor

 

it can read to 11psi, however I have had a few cars puching 17 psi on stock map sensor without it failing or giving a cel I just tune the 11psi column as if it was 17 psi. where I live people don't want to buy the right stuff.

when I log it does log in the 11 psi column

But if your on a stock ecu with fmu the car will get a cel because there is no fuel or ignition map for boost stock.

10.6PSI - 11PSI is the max.

 

11.1psi and you get CEL code

 

Im running crome pro with p72 chipped ecu

 

If it spiked though wouldn't your engine go bye bye? or am wrong
