AEM's have a problem with the CEL coming on. Injen's SRI is kind of boggy down low on hot days. All SRI's are sort of boggy on hot days but not too bad. Remember you get what you pay for. Injen is good but Fujita is good 2, AEM is w/e and just dont buy any intake from EBAY.... LOL

appreciate the info.. but still not sure which one to go with. Are there any other good intakes out besides the run of the mill AEM Injen and Fujita? Hows K&N...
Buy a drop-in K&N and spend your left over money somewhere else. Not worth the money IMO. Also, you can create a hole in the side of the box on the opposite side of the engine to create better acceleration off the line. Hope this helps in your decision.
I know some one with a 99 hatch with a itr motor and trans who was going for the stock look, so he put in a drop in k&n filter... He said he thinks he's losing some power in comparison to his sri but he said he liked the look better. All i know is that hes smoking people. But then again he has an itr. Also are you running the drop in K&N? How do you like it?
On another thread someone mentioned the password jdm intake. Looks promising. Does anyone have any knowledge on these intakes? Also, I couldnt kind one for the new si's? what the deal?
