Got a gsr motor in the eg hatch. OBD1.

Now got a check engine light on. I can't seem
to run the check engine light. I connected the wires on the blue
connector. Nothing is showing but instead the SRS light is blinking.

Any idea what could cause this?

It might have been grey. Eitherway it was night and that was the only connector there was near the ecu that wasn't connected.

 

Try plugging the paper clip in the butt side of the harness. The side where you can actually see the metal wrapping on the wires.

 

just stick a bit of wire in the d4 pin (should be brown) and run it to an earth, i couldnt check mine with my pld ecu but then i switched to a p30 and its fine
