hey guys i want to know if the idle air control valve on a 2000 b16 can be adjusted to be fix and if so is there a write up about it

 

iacv can not be adjusted.but u can clean it by using brake cleaner. if it is broken. u will need to get a new one.

 

Talk to a HT user by the name of johnlear-https://honda-tech.com/zerouser...64375 . I think he said he makes/has a kit that eliminates or modifies IAC valves.

 

thanks guys I've been reading on here and it said that to clean it si i cleaned it out but connected it again but it is still doing the same thing the reason i said if it could be adjusted is because i had an Ls that did the same thing but i adjusted it i wonder if advance sells it and for how much if they did

 

Its either a clean or replace thing. No real in between with IAC's. Either they work or they're ****, or the wiring is ****.
